Area 55 is a rock band formed in 2018 by Julio Federici and guitarist Mika Jaxx. They debuted in 2019 with the single Far Away and released their first album One Ocean in 2020. The band collaborated with renowned producer Brendan Duffey and featured artwork by Richard Villa and Gustavo Sazes.

The current lineup includes vocalist Julio Federici, guitarist Mika Jaxx, drummer Lexxi Souza, and bassist Henrique Canale “Baboom”.

Federici, with a background in classical singing and music production, previously performed with King of Bones and toured with artists such as Andre Matos, Anthrax, and Accept. Jaxx has had a successful career and supported major acts like Aerosmith and Papa Roach.
